Biblical Horizons Conference

Biblical Horizons (BH) is not an official ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church, but one of our members, Jim Jordan, is the founder and director of Biblical Horizons. We have allowed Jim to use the church building for the annual Biblical Horizons conference each summer for about ten years, even before Jim and Brenda joined Trinity. Several of our members are contributors to Biblical Horizons, and some are even on the BH List, via internet.Biblical Horizons was founded by Jim Jordan in 1988. Jim had previously been the director of Geneva Ministries and Geneva Divinity School in Tyler, Texas. Jim has worked part-time Ligonier Ministries, Coral Ridge Ministries, and the Institute for Christian Economics, but friends prevailed upon him to start Biblical Horizons as an outlet for research into Biblical and theological matters. In 1991, Biblical Horizons relocated to Niceville, Florida. Since that time, BH has grown to a full-time job for Jim. Biblical Horizons seeks to stand in line with the Protestant Reformation, and is committed to the following perspectives: Rigorous Trinitarianism, Creationism, Biblical Absolutism, Presuppositional Thinking, Biblical Theocracy, Optimistic Eschatology, Covenant-Renewal Worship, and Musical Reformation in Worship.

As a research and teaching institute, Biblical Horizons publishes essays, books, and taped lectures. An annual conference is held each year, at which several scholars share the latest things they are working on.
