McCheyne’s RSS

Rev. Robert Murray M’Cheyne (or as we call ‘Ol Bob) only lived until age 29, but what he accomplished by that age was a great deal more than most men. One of his notable achievements was his plan to read through the Bible in one year (the New Testament and Psalms twice a year). With the “digital age” upon us, and an easier way to get the Bible into our hearts and minds, I recently found an RSS feed of M’Cheyne’s plan. Think of a RSS feed (description) as newspaper emailed to you whenever the article is published. For the Bible plan feed, the article will be updated every day.

To read this everyday, you can set up your email for RSS feeds or use a Feed Reader website:

* Attensa Online
* Bloglines
* FeedLounge
* Google Reader
* Gritwire
* News Alloy
* NewsGator Online
* Pluck Web Edition
* Rojo

Here is the feed to the daily Bible plan. It is in ESV, so you KJ readers will have to grin and bear it. http://www.gnpcb.org/esv/share/rss2.0/one.year.tract/

Sermons are online again

Categories: Uncategorized

After much hiatus, the Sermons are back online again. We are going to have the sermons available the day of or the following Monday. Also, we have everything tagged with ID3 information: Sermon title, date, scripture passages, years, sermon preacher, etc.

Hopefully, you will find this useful. We have yet to finish the old sermons, but that is the next project on this list.

Sign of things to come

With the re-vamp of the Trinity Sermons on the website, a couple of more goodies are also in store for all who listen.
