Sunday School Classes (Resume September 13)

Join us as Deacon Nate Pierpoint teaches a course titled "Our Founding Faith - Historical Denominations of Early America."  The class meets at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall and runs for six weeks.

Core Objectives: Trace the theological roots of 1776 America, examine how distinct doctrines shaped early American society, understand where these traditions stand today, and connect their historical legacy directly to their descendent denominations in Northwest Florida. Ultimate goal is focused on theological distinctives within our American Christian tradition, regional impacts resulting from these distinctives, and strains of American thought that derive from these distinctives. Purpose is to leverage the framework of history to better understand distinctives within Modern Christendom, and understand our denominational distinctives and those of our fellow local Christian brothers/sisters as we serve our region together in sharing the gospel. Emphasis is less on political history, but more on theological history.

Three youth Sunday School classes are offered: Littles (Ages 3-5), Lower Elementary (ages 6-8), and Upper Elementary (ages 9-12).  The children's Sunday School classes meet in the Administration Building.

All three children's classes are studying the Westminster Confession of Faith Catechism. The Catechism is a tried and true method to teach our young people the essential truths of the Bible and Christian faith.
